When starting out his photography career Michel lived in Romania for 5 years in which he hit the streets of Bucharest capturing street shots of every day life taking the ordinary to make extraordinary images. It helped him developing his photography skills and his creative vision to bring OXOVISUALS to the professional level where it is today. It also resulted in an impressive street photography portfolio. Street photography definitely helped him become a visual poet who intuitively feels when and where the decisive moment will be coming up. This skill is key for the photographer who wants to tell a story with just one picture. One picture in which a scene comes together, or in the words of the famous photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson, "Inside movement there is one moment in which the elements are in balance. Photography must seize the importance of this moment and hold immobile the equilibrium of it".
